A New Perspective on the Life of a Cell

Wow. This is simply amazing. A stunning 3 minute video of what happens in your body on a cellular level - how white blood cells do what they do. It's an "artists representation," but it was produced in conjunction w/ the latest scientific research, so its probably as accurate as we can be at this point. Very, very cool. All I need now is someone to explain it to me ;-) [HT: Karyn T]

Very nice. The miracle is that these complex structures, interaction and dependency all came about by random chance and pure luck. (Yes, tongue is firmly planted in cheek.)

Exactly. It's stunning to get a glimpse of that complexity, no matter how deeply we peer. And you are very right - it's hard to believe all of that happened by pure chance. :-)

Doing very well, thanks! Now that ordination exams are all complete, I'm starting to return to normal life a bit (being a dad, husband, etc), and it's nice. Weird, but nice :-)
