Atheism in decline?

I don't know quite what the point of the folks at Stones Cry Out was in this post about The Decline of Atheism, but I'm curious if anybody has any feedback on it.

"For although in every major European city except Paris spirituality is booming" ... "this only proves the emergence of a diffuse belief system, " ... " but not the revitalization of traditional Christian religious faith."I can relate to this from my onw experience, but I would caution any attempt to imply that diffuse systems are not Christian - it's been interesting to se the rise of much more flexible structures of the Church in the UK, groups like SPEAK and 24-7 Prayer.

Hey, cm: that last statement you made intrigues me. I've looked briefly at the SPEAK stuff, but haven't had time to digest it much. Can you tell us more about both of these? Either by posting a summary here or maybe writing a guest post if you have a bit more to say than a brief comment will allow.

I'm specifically interested in the "flexible structures" part - what are they, how do they work, how do they fit with the church, etc.
